Tucked away along the sothern coast of Jeollanam-do is Beosong 보성 the home to green tea which has ben deamed pure enough for an astronots diet by the Russians. Green tea has been grown in this area for thousands of years and is quite the sight to behold. The largest farm in the region, Deahan Dawan 대한다원 (est. 1937), has created a place of learning, and relaxation with delicious gren tea eats for people to enjoy after walking the firlds. Although most things were closed due to Covid-19 I will be back next year to participate in the Tea Festival and enjoy the museams and spas!
For now I’ll leave you with photos that will inspire you to visit despite being off the beaten path.
